About the role
- Maintenance and further development of the FOGTEC QM system
- Preparation and support of audits
- Preparation of quality indicators for the management review
- Identification and implementation of improvement projects
- Creation and maintenance of process documentation
- Development and implementation of measures for error prevention and continuous improvement
- Support of the FOGTEC risk management
- Project support and contact person for customers and colleagues in quality matters
- Preparation and support of customer FAI's
- Supplier management in quality matters
About you
- Completed studies in the field of engineering, ideally with a focus on mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable training
- Professional experience in process optimisation and quality assurance, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Experience in using the usual quality management tools; knowledge of safety management is also an advantage
- At least 2 years of professional experience with a focus on quality management
- Professional, authoritative appearance, assertiveness and good interdisciplinary communication skills
- Very good written and spoken German and good English skills

About the role
- You will support our development team in day-to-day operations and will be given your own tasks, the solutions to which you will design.
- You will support the team in various projects related to the development of electronic components in the field of fire detection and fire fighting systems for rail vehicles.
- You are also responsible for your own project strands
- You ensure the quality of our internal and external communication and optimise it if necessary.
- You are the interface to other specialist departments (e.g. production, design) and external development partners.
- You support the qualification of electronic components
- You contribute to the documentation of the entire development process in accordance with EN 50126 / 50129.
About you
- Completed bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or corresponding completed or nearly completed technician training.
- Professional experience in the field of electronic components is desirable
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- High level of understanding for technical processes and interrelationships
- Knowledge in the development of functionally safe applications and field bus systems is desirable
- Experience with development tools such as Altium or comparable tools is desirable
- Good knowledge of digital and analogue circuit technology
- Commitment, reliability and the ability to deal with many technical topics at the same time round off your profile.

About the role
- Development of software for innovative products in the field of fire detection and fire fighting technology on the basis of different microprocessor systems from the idea to the start of production
- Further development and maintenance of existing microcontroller and application software solutions
- Testing and debugging of individual components and complete systems
- Documentation of the entire development process according to DIN EN 50657
- Active participation in the design of CI/CD
- Interface to our external development partners
- Testing and commissioning of software at the customer's site
About you
- Completed university / technical college studies in the fields of computer science, electrical engineering or comparable subjects
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of hardware-related software development
- Good understanding of the hardware architecture of microcontrollers (ARM controller STM32)
- Experience with communication and field bus systems such as RS485, CAN, I2C
- Sound knowledge of C
- Experience in the area of functional safety and standards in the railway sector (e.g. EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129) would be an advantage
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
- The ability to work in a team, commitment and reliability round off your profile
