Spanish Congress Palace

The Spanish Congress Palace building in Madrid has been built in 1850 and is rated as historical heritage building. FOGTEC technology protects all offices, corridors, public spaces and auditoriums with glass bulb operated nozzles in a wet system. Areas which do not allow ceiling mounted glass bulb nozzles receive open side wall nozzles mounted at the balcony of the auditorium or receive floor mounted deluge nozzles coverd by a lid. Furthermore the historic wooden roof structure is protected by the FOGTEC system. The water supply is achieved by a FOGTEC high pressure pump unit and a 22.000 l water tank in the basement of the building. The FOGTEC installation into the parliament building in Madrid. was quite challenging, since it was carried out under full operation of the building.
