The “Kaisersaal” is one of the eldest event locations in Europe. The building is more than 500 years old and has been frequented by famous German classic writers like Johann Wolfgang von Goethe or Friedrich Schiller.
The historical theatre was the location where Napoleon held his famous “Erfurter Fürstenkongress” (congress of Erfurt) together with Tsar Alexander I from Russia. To protect the historical theatre including the wooden attic from fire, a FOGTEC high pressure water mist system is installed, which preserves the heritage construction from fire and especially water damage
