The Elbphilharminy is one of the world‘s best concert houses at an outstanding location at the Elbe river in the harbour of Hamburg. It is an impressing landmark of the city. The total building floor area is 120.000 m² with an overall height of 110 m.
In addition to the philharmonic concert hall the building will house a 5-star hotel, restaurants, bars, a plaza, residential apartments and parking areas. FOGTEC is in charge to protect the imbedded concert hall with 2200 seats and an overall height of 25 m. Designed is an open system in with special high pressure nozzles integrated into the ground floor of the audience area.
