FOGTEC pump systems generate pressures between 120 and 140 bar. If lower pressures would be used, the droplets generated by the nozzles would either be larger or they would have insufficient acceleration to overcome greater heights to reach the fire (law of energy conservation). The pump units consist of individual pump modules. Since FOGTEC pump units are available with flow rates between 25 to 1000 l/min, the overall flow rate and power of a system can be optimized to the requirements. The pump units are electrically powered or by diesel engines. FOGTEC pump units include adequate water filtration and control cabinets which are equipped with state-of-the-art PLC controls and can be connected to fire alarm systems while remote maintenance via a modem is available as option.
