Fire Tests

When designing water mist systems, full-scale fire tests under realistic conditions are the basis to generate safe layout parameters. Unlike gas extinguishing systems or sprinkler systems, water mist systems are not designed solely according to the room volume or surface area. For this reason, international standards as well as certification bodies require verification of the performance capabilities of each water mist supplier and for each field of applications by full-scale fire tests. This gives water mist systems for many applications a significant advantage over other technologies in terms of prove of effectiveness.

Ever since FOGTEC started developing water mist systems, we have given great importance to fire tests. For more than 30years, the FOGTEC team has been deeply involved in full scale fire testing.
