Metro Budapest

For the protection of the underground stations of the Metro of Budapest FOGTEC was selected after detailed evaluation by Metro Budapest. Extensive fire testing under supervision of German TÜV was the basis of the design of the chosen FOGTEC systems. Two different metro lines with all stations are protected with state-of-art FOGTEC technology. The FOGTEC protection concept is to rapidly and efficiently control and suppress a detected fire with minimum amount of water, which is achieved by applying small droplet water mist. The FOGTEC high pressure water mist technology is capable of attaining the protective aims in respect of limiting the fire spread, lowering the temperatures and partly washing the smoke like no other firefighting agent.
