FOGTEC has realized the protection of all sales areas on underground level at Essen Main Station as well as the protection of the technical rooms. High pressure nozzles have been installed in these areas supplied by a pump system at 140 bars with two water tanks. The area is passed by 75.000 passengers each day. The maximum admissible length of the emergency route could be exceeded due to the effects of the FOGTEC High-pressure water mist system.
