Series 1000 is our cost efficient product line. The system modules are based on a simple and economical design, allowing the protection of individual areas as well as complete vehicles. Series 1000 operates without software but can be expanded with more advanced modules, including data interfaces, if required. All components comply with the relevant railway standards EN 50155 and EN 50121, and meet the high quality requirements of FOGTEC Rail Systems.
With the Series 3000+, FOGTEC Rail Systems is taking a new approach to fire protection.
Unlike systems adapted from building, aviation or marine technology, Series 3000+ was developed exclusively for the rail industry.
The system complies with all relevant railway standards and enables a complete system architecture up to SIL 2.
One of its major strengths is its high level of flexibility, the safety level of a vehicle platform is no longer determined before the system architecture is defined.
In addition, the slimline fire detection modules can be integrated discreetly into the ceiling area providing greater design freedom for vehicle manufacturers.
The Series 7000 is based on aspirating smoke detection technology and provides advanced solutions for the detection and monitoring of fire events.
The system includes various data interfaces, gas and infrared sensors, as well as image analysis systems for CCTV applications.
The product portfolio is complemented by data gateways (e.g. WTB, Profibus, or other protocol conversions), GSM remote access modules (for functions such as fault diagnostics from an operations control center or service station), and a range of display units used as human machine interfaces.
Stand-Alone solutions for direct integration into the Train Control and
Monitoring System (TCMS) offer a high level of flexibility and can be
easily adapted to different vehicle concepts.Various detector types
are available as stand-alone versions, often up to SIL 2, smoke
detectors, temperature detectors, combined smoke/temperature detectors,
infrared detectors, and linear heat detectors.
